Aaron Guard security team responds to incident on M62 motorway

In the early hours of Sunday, 20th July, a distressing situation unfolded on the M62 when a man attempted to take his own life by jumping from a bridge. Thankfully, two of Aaron Guard’s roaming security guards, Mehrzah Hussain and Muhammad Ahmed Riyas, spotted him and immediately intervened, staying with the individual and engaging him in conversation.

The security guards stayed with the individual and immediately contacted the police. They stayed with him, speaking calmly and compassionately, until emergency services arrived and took over. The scene was safely secured by around 5am.
