The Challenge

Aaron Group was required to deliver civil engineering works in Tonbridge to support the installation of new vehicle and pedestrian access gates as part of an access control infrastructure upgrade. The project demanded precise foundation construction for both gate types, comprehensive duct installation to support future electrical and control systems, and full surface reinstatement to return the area to its original condition. Works needed to be executed with careful site management to ensure safe excavation, foundation construction, and duct routing whilst maintaining a controlled working area and minimising disruption to the surrounding environment.

What We Did

Aaron Group delivered comprehensive civil engineering works to enable the access control installation. Our scope included:

  • Vehicle Gate Foundation – construction of new foundation to support vehicle gate installation, with 65mm ducts routed to pulling pits and roped ready for future service installation
  • Pedestrian Gate Foundation – construction of new foundation for pedestrian gate infrastructure
  • Ducting to Gate Posts and Control Panel – installation of ducting to each pedestrian gate post and the control panel location to enable future electrical connections
  • Duct Installation to Pulling Pits – installation of 65mm ducts to pulling pits, with all ducts roped ready for service installation
  • Surface Reinstatement – full tarmac reinstatement, brushed and finished to match the surrounding surface condition

All works were delivered with careful planning and site management, coordinating excavation works, duct installation, and foundation construction whilst maintaining a controlled and safe working area throughout.
